What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes a digital syllabus, link to watch the program live, and access to the recordings through December 31, 2021.
How do I Register?
Please set up a UGA registration account at registration.ugagenealogy.org. Please answer all questions, even if not applicable; the account is shared with other UGA programs. Please click on the verification link sent to you via email to complete account set-up.
Once registration is open, please return to registration.ugagenealogy.org and click on the green “register now” button by the “Summit of Excellence” program icon.

If I am a member of UGA, how do I receive my discount?
When you set up your registration account, please make sure you utilize the SAME email that you use for your UGA membership account and that your membership is current. The discount will be automatically applied at the time of registration.
If you feel a discount was not applied in error, please contact the registrar.
How do I pay for my registration?
You may use the link provided at the time of registration to pay via PayPal utilizing a credit card. A PayPal account is not required, but if you have one, you may also utilize the bank draft option.
You may also send a check made payable to “Utah Genealogical Association” and mailed to PO Box 1144, Salt Lake City, UT 84110. Checks must be received within 14 days of registration and no later than August 23rd, 2021—whichever comes first.
At any point in time, you may also log into your UGA registration account to view and pay your invoice using the PayPal link.
Cancellations received by 11:59 p.m., on Saturday, August 23, 2021, will receive a full refund less a $20 administrative fee. After that date, no refund will be given, but the electronic syllabus, virtual access, and session recordings will be provided.
Will the presentations be closed captioned?
Closed captioning is provided electronically via Zoom. Electronic transcription errors may occur. All recordings include the ability to turn on closed captioning and review the transcription separately.
How do I login for the Summit?
Login information will be sent to you on Monday prior to the conference. Please make sure the email addresses firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com are on your safe senders list.
As a registered attendee, you may login twenty (20) minutes before the broadcast begins. The Summit Host will open the virtual classroom door five (5) minutes before the broadcast begins.
Each session will have a separate link. You may come and go as you desire.
How do I access the syllabus?
Links to access the syllabi will be emailed with login information on Monday prior to the conference.
How do I access the recordings?
A link to the event database will be sent to all participants via the email provided in your registration account after recording processing is completed.
Access will end on Friday, December 31, 2021.
There is no limit to the number of times you may watch each recording.
We ask that you honor the agreement made when you registered for the Summit of Excellence. Do not share the link to the recordings or syllabus with others.
