Elevate your genealogical education to new heights with the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG). SLIG offers in-depth, week-long courses on topics such as methodology, standards, records groups, DNA, regional or ethnic research, and research tools. Courses are designed for high-intermediate to advanced researchers and provide more depth than can be achieved by attending a regular conference or multiple hour-long webinars.
Course curriculum engages participants in multiple daily class sessions, hands-on application and learning assignments. Small class sizes maximize the learning experience. SLIG faculty represent the genealogical field’s top educators and bring high quality education and discussion to each of their students.
Meeting in Salt Lake City, students enjoy a variety of additional benefits know as “the SLIG Experience.” Attendees can participate in social events, special presentations, an opening reception, networking opportunities, and the Annual Completion Banquet. The institute is held within walking distance of the world-renowned Family History Library, which is open for research after class.
Join us at the 2022 Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, January 9-14, 2022.
